WarningSum:...Flood Warning Remains In Effect Until Friday...
Warning Message:The Flood Warning continues for
the Des Moines River at St Francisville.
* Until Friday.
* At 3:00 PM Monday the stage was 17.8 feet...and falling.
* Flood stage is 18 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...rise above flood stage Tuesday night and then
hold around flood stage through Thursday. Fall below flood
stage Friday.
* Impact...at 18 feet...flooding occurs over the lowest river banks.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Skunk River at Augusta.
* Until Friday morning.
* At 2:30 PM Monday the stage was 18.9 feet...and steady.
* Flood stage is 15 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* Recent activity...a new temporary gage has been installed. A
revised forecast will be available this evening.
* Impact...at 22 feet...water affects basements in Augusta.

* At 2:00 PM Monday the stage was 15.9 feet...and steady.
* Flood stage is 16 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent activity...the river is currently holding just below
flood stage.
* Forecast...rise above flood stage this evening...and hold at
16.0 feet tonight. Fall below flood stage Tuesday morning.
* Impact...at 16 feet...water affects low lying buildings in rural
areas. Water affects the Railroad tracks in Alexandria.

the Mississippi River at Burlington.
* Until further notice.
* At 3:00 PM Monday the stage was 16.1 feet...and rising.
* Flood stage is 15 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Recent activity...the river is approaching the first of two
crests.
* Forecast...rise to 16.1 feet this evening...then fall to 15.4 feet
Thursday evening. Begin rising again Friday evening.
* Impact...at 16 feet...water affects low lying buildings and homes
in Montrose and Niota.
