Warning Description: Flood Warning

Warning Date: 12:06 PM CST on March 10, 2010

WarningSum:...Flood Warning Now In Effect Until Tuesday Evening...

Warning Message:The Flood Warning continues for
  the Des Moines River at St Francisville.
* Until Tuesday evening.
* At 11:00 am Wednesday the stage was 18.4 feet...and rising. 
* Flood stage is  18 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Forecast...rise to 19.0 feet Thursday morning. Fall below flood 
  stage Tuesday evening.
* Impact...at  18 feet...flooding occurs over the lowest river banks.
1206 PM CST Wed Mar 10 2010
...Flood Warning remains in effect until further notice...
The Flood Warning continues for
  the Skunk River at Augusta.
* Until further notice.
* At 11:30 am Wednesday the stage was 21.7 feet...and falling. 
* Flood stage is  15 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and is forecast to continue.
* Recent activity...the river has recently surged to above major flood
  stage in a short period this morning. The quickly Rising River levels
  may be enhanced by ice action downstream of the Augusta area. Ice action
  may produce further 1 to 3 foot fluctuations from the expected river 
  stage trends through Thursday night.
* Forecast...rise to 23.6 feet Thursday...then begin falling.
* Impact...at  22 feet...water affects basements in Augusta.
